Meet Widow A.R.

Saint Jude Orphans is committed to updating you on the families that your charitable donations have helped throughout the years. Every month, we will feature a family whose lives you have impacted. We are starting with Widow A.R.

Then:

In 2008 a family was torn apart when a loving husband and father of three was tragically electrocuted and killed at work in Mosul. His wife found it extremely difficult to care for their three children after his passing because he was the breadwinner. In 2015, disaster struck again when the widowed mother and her children were displaced from Mosul due to ISIS.

Now:

This family is still dependent on assistance from St. Jude. The widowed mother had a brain tumor removed and is still receiving treatment. St. Jude helps her with treatment, medical fees, and education for the three children.
